Describing Translations
Using Coordinates


To describe a translation we need to specify how far and in which direction the image is from the object. To do that we use a translation vector. The translation vector is an ordered pair of numbers, (x,y) where x is how far in the x-direction and y how far in the y - direction the image is from the object.
