urban impact funding

The Urban Impact Grant is a federally funded Title II, Teacher Quality Partnership Grant Award of $697,994.00 for the current year 10/1/2000 - 9/30/2001. In addition, UTC, in partnership with UT and Knox and Hamilton County schools, area businesses, and state agencies, has provided a non-federal match amount of $258,258.00 for this current year.

Over the full five years of the grant, funding is approximately $3.8 million in a federal Urban Impact Grant from the U.S. Department of Education and $1.8 million in funds from UTC and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
