ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT III, Chancellor's Office.  Pay Grade 34.  Minimum $ 9.08/hr.  This position provides administrative support for the Chancellor’s Office, under the supervision of the Administrative Coordinator. Responsibilities include such clerical and administrative functions as: word processing, filing, answering phones, assisting with walk in inquiries to the Chancellor’s Office; preparing special reports/ projects; and assisting with searches, appeals and other duties as assigned. FINANCIAL AID COUNSELOR, Student Financial Aid. Responsible for assisting prospective and currently enrolled students and/or parents in the identification of federal, state, institutional, and private resources necessary to pursue their educational goals at UTC.  Provides one-to-one counseling, technical application assistance, and makes eligibility determinations for student assistance programs.  QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree required; prefer degree in student personnel, business, education, psychology, or related field. IT TECHNOLOGIST II, Teacher Resource Center.  This position provides direct and indirect support to faculty and staff on existing and emerging computer, network, and information technology through the Walker Teaching Resource Center, Computer Curricular Integration Lab and other training labs.  Responsibilities include consulting with faculty and staff on software applications and hardware configurations; maintaining computer set ups, anti-virus, software and operating systems updates; advising and assisting in budgetary planning process and maintaining accounts for all projects; coordinating the scheduling and production of the seminar facilities; supervising and training work study and other student employees; and other duties as assigned.  QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or equivalent required with a minimum of one year of experience using, troubleshooting, and managing technology in an office setting.  Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.  Extensive and current knowledge of personal computer hardware and software, network operating systems and infrastructure, and Internet technologies.  Proven ability to analyze needs and solve problems in a creative and proactive fashion and to convey those to faculty, staff and student clients.  Proven aptitude for learning new software applications required.  #05-651852C  (Posted 3/1/06)
