Biography
Deborah Adams comes from a family of seven generations Tennessee natives. She currently lives in the small community of Jesus Creek, Tennessee, which is located a few miles from Nashville. According the author of her biography on the Jesus Creek Web site, Adams feels she is an author that enjoys writing novels, short fiction, and non-fiction. Her fiction consists mainly of mystery and crime stories, and she has won several awards for her work. Adams served on the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Committees (Best Novel) in 1993 and (Best Short Story) in 1996. She is currently involved with the American Crime Writers' League, Sisters in Crime, and other literary organizations.
In addition to publishing novels, her work has appeared in various anthologies and literary magazines throughout her career. She has been an honored guest at several literary events, including the Southern Festival of Books, Appalachian Studies Conference, the Warioto Regional Library Board of Trustees Conference and East Tennessee State University Writers' Program.
