Tom Anderson (b. 1910)

Biography

A Nashville native, Anderson is best known for his agricultural column, "Straight Talk," which was syndicated in over 375 papers at the height of its popularity. Anderson received a degree in economics from Vanderbilt in 1934. An outspoken political activist, he ran for president in 1976 on the American Party ticket.
